Great location

Our apartments are located in a quiet, yet central location in Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. The centre with its many shops and restaurants is just a few minutes' walk away. Countless hiking trails start right behind the house and you look at the best via ferrata routes of the region, starting from our backyard. Along the Ziller River, which is only a few steps away from Appart Taverne, there are easy walking and cycling trails along the valley. In winter, the free ski bus stops right in front of the house and takes you comfortably to the Horbergbahn or Penkenbahn cable cars in just a few minutes.

Winter wonderland

Our holiday apartments are the perfect base for your winter holiday in the Zillertal. With over 542 kilometres of slopes, 180 lifts and numerous ski areas, the Zillertal is one of the most popular winter sports destinations in the Alps. With the Zillertal Superskipass, you can explore all the ski areas in one holiday. How convenient that the free ski bus stops right outside the front door of Appart Taverne and takes you to the nearest cable cars: Horbergbahn, Penkenbahn or Ahornbahn in just a few minutes. And even if you don't ski, you will get the great chance to discover the mountains on magical winter hiking trails at mount Penken (Penkenbahn) and mount Ahorn (Ahornbahn). Your equipment will of course be kept safe, dry and warm in our large ski room with boot dryers.

Climbing, biking, hiking, crystal-clear mountain lakes, fresh mountain air and right in the middle of it all, the vibrant village of Mayrhofen with its Alpine flair, nice cafés and countless restaurants. Our apartments are the perfect home base for great excursions, fantastic mountain hikes, first climbing experiences and beautiful e-bike tours into picturesque side valleys.
